Description
This bundle covers the four skill standards in the Mechanical Engineering CNC Operator (Micro-credential).
What is covered?
- Skill Standard – 40034 Apply health and safety practices in an engineering environment
- Skill Standard – 40035 Apply quality assurance and control principles and processes in an engineering environment
- Skill Standard – 40036 Carry out preventive maintenance tasks on plant or equipment in an engineering environment
- Skills Standard – 40037 Set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machinery in an engineering environment
Who should enroll?
This bundle is for those working with CNC machines who are wanting to receive recognition for their CNC knowledge and skills. This is an assessment only bundle. You will be able to access online learning materials and the assessment for each of the above standards via our Learning Management System – Canvas. Once you submit your assessment it will be marked by one of our experienced Assessors.
Once you have successfully passed the assessments for the skill standards in this bundle, we will record the standard credits with NZQA, and you will receive and ATNZ completion certificate for the Mechanical Engineering CNC Operator (Micro-credential)
**Important Note**
If you are new to CNC or the engineering environment, you may be better suited to completing our work-based learning option where you will receive monthly support from an Account Manager while you are working through the requirements for each Skill Standard. This option is coming soon.
