With ATNZ Chairperson, John Blakey (ONZM) deciding to retire in May of this year, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of Fiona Kingsford as the new Chairperson, effective March 1, 2022.
Fiona, an existing member of the ATNZ board, brings a wealth of relevant industry experience to the role.
She recently concluded a six-year term as CEO of Competenz, an organisation where, over thirteen years, she was instrumental in transforming the business to one based on customer centricity, product innovation, technology adoption and enablement. More lately, Fiona has overseen the RoVE transition process at Competenz.
Departing Chairperson John Blakey said “I’m delighted that Fiona is taking over as Chair. She has a deep understanding of ATNZ and is passionate about the work it does and its plans for the future. She will provide strong and innovative leadership through a period of change and challenge.”
Fiona’s appointment to the role comes at a pivotal moment as the organisation transitions to a PTE, effective 1 January 2023.
Delighted to accept the role, Fiona said “I am excited to take on the role of Chair. ATNZ has an exciting future ahead and I am really looking forward to working with the Board and Tim Wilson our incoming Chief Executive to bring our strategy to life”
