If you like making and fixing things?
Then you may be suited to a trade career. Most things around you have had an engineer plan some of its construction. Engineers work with their hands, design production lines, and fully automate manufacturing processes.
Who should attend?
This bundle of Unit Standards gives you a taster of some of the learning you would do in the first year of an apprenticeship with ATNZ. In this taster , you will learn how to safely construct and care for things made out of metal, readying you for an apprenticeship in engineering

NZQA Credits
On successful completion of each assessment you will be awarded the credits associated with each unit standard.

Study Type: Self-paced online
Start Time: On enrolment
Duration: While this is a self-paced study programme you should allow 16 weeks to complete your study part-time.
Assessment:
You will complete online assessments that will enable you (on successful completion) to be awarded the credits for each unit standard.
