Metalwork Engineering Gateway Programme
Details
The ATNZ Mechanical Engineering Gateway programme introduces secondary students to metalwork, engineering, and general workshop environments while earning NCEA credits. It gives students a realistic understanding of what engineering apprentices do, helping them make informed career choices.

Students complete a mix of workplace learning, online modules, and practical activities guided by the host business and the school Gateway Coordinator.
